In spite of the fact that, with its unspoiled nature, its historical past, its cultural variety and its climate, the area possesses a genuine tourism potential, the Karaburun Peninsula, along with the City of Karaburun hasn’t yet got their right place on the tourism scene.

However, we are confident that, once the problematic fields of "Transportation, Accommodation, Activities en Skilled work force" will be solved, tourism development will automatically come along. Like many other places in the world, where mass tourism is abandoned, we are aware that “alternative tourism” is the right choice and is representing the best development model for Karaburun. It is obvious that we will gain a lot more from a tourism model, where next to the advantages of our sea and climate, features of our culture and nature are added.

In order to contribute to the development of the tourism sector, the Municipality of Karaburun has started a number of services and projects and will continue these efforts. Together and with the support and help of all official bodies, relevant organizations and persons involved in the tourism sector, we need to be successful in continuing these efforts.
